Completed in 1991, this Upper Market District project included the partial excavation of a basement storage space in a small existing one-story residence. The basement space was converted into a new bedroom, dressing area, bathroom, laundry and storage area. The bathroom included a custom designed steam shower. The area was expanded to include space formerly under the front stairs, and new windows were added to blend in with the original Victorian facade. Work also included a new central heating system and connecting stairs to the second floor.
